A night with a killer

Minh Tuyet didn't know how long she had slept but it felt like days to her. She found herself on the hard ground of what seemed like an old church. She looked around her surroundings trying to figure out where she was but all she see were walls. It was dark with only the moonlight shining through the stain-glass windows, barely helping other than enhanced the gloomy mood. Terrified thinking she was alone , she frantically search for a way out

"Help? somebody help me!"

She was too busy trying to find an exit that she didn't see what was in front of her so she tripped and fell on top of it. At first she thought it was a dead body but then he was still breathing. With closer inspection, it was Luong Tung Quang sleeping. Suddenly Minh Tuyet didn't felt scared anymore but more annoyed. She tried to shake him and slapping him to wake up. After trying for a few minutes she gave up and sat in a corner only a few feet a way from him.

Luong Tung Quang woke up with a cramp in his neck. His face felt numb and he didn't know why. He got up very slowly and noticed that he was in an unfamiliar environment. Thinking he was alone in the pitch dark room, he let out a loud shriek and hugged a nearby column for some comfort.

Minh Tuyet was napping when all of a sudden she heard crying from nearby. She realized that it was the annoying Luong Tung Quang. Rolling her eyes she snucked behind him and shouted,

"Oh would you SHUT UP!"

He jumped and turned around. Happy to see Minh Tuyet, he flung his arms around her,

"Oh Tuyet! I'm so glad to see you, I thought I was alone!!!!"
(she rolled her eyes)"Back OFF!"

He backed off, not wanting another kick from her. The last one left him limping for days. Slowly, his eyes filled in fear. Minh Tuyet can sense that he was afraid of something and she couldn't help but ask.

"Now what?"
"I-I-I'm afraid of the dark"

She tried not to smile and looked away. He took advantage of that and inched closer and closer to her, thinking she would be okay with it. But then, Minh Tuyet barked at him the moment their shoulders touched and she continued to ramble on ending it with a "Stay two feet away from me!" Luong Tung Quang slide down against the wall and curled up. They sat there in silence until someone came in...

(Minh Tri)

Minh Tri burst through the door without any hesitation to knock. He saw the two begin to huddle together in fear which brought him great joy. He grinned and slowly made his way up to them. Minh Tuyet and Luong Tung Quang weren't sure whether he was coming to slaughter them or rob them but he end up not doing any of them. All he did was just stand there and still grinning while they shiver in each other's arms. He finally broke the awkward silence:

Minh Tri: Alright! who's gonna die first? (holding up a gun)
Luong Tung Quang: D-D Die?
Minh Tuyet: Why?
Minh Tri: Because you have to
Luong Tuang Quang and Minh Tuyet: But why?
Minh Tri: Enough! no body ask questions on why they die, they just do!
Luong Tung Quang and Minh Tuyet: Yeah
Minh Tri: are you two a couple?

They looked at each other, then at him, and then back at each other. Minh Tuyet didn't want to die with everyone thinking she and Luong Tung Quang were a couple. She suddenly pushed him away, putting her hands on her hips

Minh Tuyet: WE ARE NOT A COUPLE!
Luong Tung Quang: why would you think that? We never-
Minh Tri: SHUT UP! I don't care anymore I'll just shoot both of you!


He held up the gun and pulled the trigger slowly, Luong Tung Quang was on his knees reciting prayers while Minh Tuyet was listing reasons why not to kill her. He counted down starting by five then four, three, two, one...BANG! Minh Tuyet and Luong Tuang jumped at the sound and both were on the ground thinking they were dying. Minh Tri chuckled, dropping the gun down on the floor and left. After a few minutes of crying in agony, both realized that there wasn't even mark on their bodies. Luong Tung Quang took the gun and saw the barrel had no bullets in it and there's no bullet or mark where they were. They sat there in silence, the only light in the room suddenly turned off.

Luong Tung Quang: It's dark...I'm scared
Minh Tuyet: Oh grow up!
