Sleepless Nights

The four dragged themselves to their room after the long day. No one talked to anyone for the rest of the night. Everyone was too tired to anyways, so they all went to bed early--everyone except for Nhu Loan. She was the only one who couldn't sleep. She tossed and turn around in her bed but no matter what she do, sleep will not come to her. Suddenly, she felt thirsty so she got up to get a glass of water. It was then when she saw a shadow of someone outside on the balcony. She was so scared that she dropped the empty glass she was holding in her hand. It broke as it hit the hard wooden floor and made a loud noise. Without thinking, Nhu Loan ran out of her room and knocked on the room next door frantically, yelling, "Help!"

LTQ was slowly dozing off to sleep when someone came knocking on his door. Great, just when the pill started to work, he thought. He took his time but as soon as he realized the voice was Nhu Loan's and that she was needing help, he rushed to the door.

LTQ: What happened?

Nhu Loan never realized that she had knocked on LTQ's door until that moment. She paused for a minute, regretting doing it, and went on, "Er- there's someone on my balcony..."

He quickly went to her room to look.

LTQ: There's no one.

Nhu Loan: But I swear that I saw someone!

Bang Kieu and Minh Tuyet appeared at the door. Apparently, all the noises and comotions woke them up, too.

Bang Kieu: (sleepily) What's going on? Do you know how long it took for me to get Beckham to go to sleep?!?... Wait a minute, what are you doing in Nhu Loan's room?

The four exchanged looks LTQ suddenly realized that he had forgotten to put on a shirt as he was in such a hurry and now he was standing very close to Nhu Loan, who had on very short shorts and a shirt that was almost see-through. It was a scene that would surely give people the wrong impression.

LTQ & NL: No, it's-

Minh Tuyet: OH I SEE! GETTING YOUR FREAK ON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

Bang Kieu: Tuyet, calm down

Minh Tuyet rolled up her pajamas' sleeves edging closer toward him, not giving the guy any chance to response. He took several steps back, trying to dodge but instead stepped on the broken glasses lying on the floor. As a result, he fell flat on his back, with Minh Tuyet on top of him and broken pieces of glass in his foot. Suddenly, a flash light went off from the balcony.

Nhu Loan: Paparazzis! I told you there was someone!

LTQ: OW! GET OFF ME!

Bang Kieu: You're bleeding!

Bang Kieu, LTQ, Minh Tuyet, and Nhu Loan was called to see Marie at 7 in the morning. They were barely awake when they arrived in her room--no one went to sleep until 4 in the morning.

"Come here and take a look," Marie said, pointing at her laptop's screen. It was the front page of Juicy Magazine's website. "I think you guys own me an explaination?"

The four looked at the screen, and saw what they knew was coming: their picture in Nhu Loan's room last night, with Minh Tuyet on top of LTQ in such a pose that would allow those reporters at Juicy Magazine write up the most unimaginable stories.


Nhu Loan felt that there was nothing to hide from Marie, and that they did nothing wrong, so she told her the story, from start to finnish. "...so we had to take him to the hospital at 1 in the morning to take the little pieces of glass in his foot out. We barely had any sleep. And I can't believe they sent people to spy on us even when we're in Korea!"

Marie considered the story for a moment, she found it hard to believe but didn't want to waste any more time quarelling with them. The show's the most important thing now. "I'll let matters rest this time. It's not like Tuyet and Quang are very close anyways, not through what I've seen so far. Now get ready. The rehearsal starts at 7:30."
