Bang Kieu loosened his grip on the phone when he heard the loud explosions. In his head were images and thoughts he didn't want to think of. And then, as Minh Tuyet's phone went dead, he collapsed to his knees. He wasn't aware of Jack or anything around him anymore. Jack sat down in his leather chair with his leg crossed while twiddling his fingers in amusement.

Jack: Aw poor Kieu. Shame. They'll be terrible missed.

Nhu Loan pulled away from DTV's arms and raced towards the wreckage, She tried to move a piece of broken concrete and instinctly drew her hand back as the thing still seems to be burning--and so was everything else. Not knowing what to do, she screamed in frustration and buried her face into her hands. She had just lost someone and now she was gonna lose another loved one?

Suddenly, she heard a loud motor approaching and looked up. A huge bulldozer was heading towards the building. DTV was driving it and he waved ridiculously at her. Knowing what the genius is going to do, she ran up to him.

Nhu Loan: What the hell are you doing?

DTV: I'm gonna scoop up the stuff so we can find him better!

Nhu Loan: What if you kill him in the process!

DTV: Uh...

Nhu Loan: Please! Just get it out of here!

Bang Kieu was still buried by his haunting thoughts as he kneeled on the floor in silence. The worse he'd feared of had happened and yet his brain simply cannot grasp it.

Jack: You still have your son (chuckles)

Still no reply.

Jack: Now, now Kieu. Don't worry, you'll make new friends eventually and since we go way back, how about I leave you alone with them for a few years this time around, eh?

(Aftermath of the explosion)

After a few minutes, the firemen had arrived. The shocked and worried Nhu Loan stood by DTV as the two of them watched piles of rubbles being pulled away.

Nhu Loan: Are you sure they are qualified?

DTV: Of course!

Nhu Loan: Vu, they are your men dressed in firemen costumes-

DTV: Hey! They are authentic...enough. Is Ebay reliable?

Nhu Loan: I don't care, I want my baby!

One of them pulled a huge boulder away and had called the others to gather. They called out to their boss and both Nhu Loan and DTV rushed over to see. It was definitely a body as the men pushed away more rocks and reveal a body covered in dust.

Please, be him. Wait...no, DON'T be him. God, please. Just-

It was him.

Nhu Loan: QUANG! NO!

Firefighter: Miss, please stay away, we need to get him out and to the hospital as quickly as possible-

DTV: Hospital? We're not going to a hospital!

Nhu Loan: What-Why not? Is he dead?

The very thought of it scared her. No, he can't be dead. But who survives that kind of explosion? Despite the firefighter's requests, she went ahead and kneeled down next to him in the rugged rubble and held his head up. His face was badly bruised and burnt and was half covered in blood.

"God. No. No. Please. No..." She broke down in tears. The firemen tried to pull her away but she fought her way to stay back. She wanted to scream. But here was this invisible lump in her throat that prevent her from doing so. All she could do was cry. It made her feel useless and weak.

Nhu Loan: He's alive! He's got to be!

DTV (sounding all serious): Of course he's alive! Now pull yourself together! We gotta get out of here quick.

Nhu Loan: He ..is?

DTV: Yes. Now let's-

Nhu Loan: Can I-

DTV: NO! LET's GO!

Some firemen grabbed Nhu Loan by the arms and pulled her away. She was no longer fighting it this time, but rather just looking back, her eyes filled with a hint of hope and relief.

DTV quickly turns around to one of his men who were now taking care of LTQ, asking, "He IS alive, right?"

Suddenly, LTQ's lips started to move and he tried to say something.

"Loo"

Firemen: Looks like he is! Lucky for you.

DTV: What is he saying, 'loo'?

Upon seeing LTQ being able to talk, Nhu Loan broke free of the firemen grips and ran towards him.

"Quang! What are you trying to say?"

DTV: I think he said he loves me.

Firemen: Aw- how cute. You guys together.

Nhu Loan: SHUT UP! I can't hear him... Loey... Yes dear, I'm here. Monnn...? Mon..ney?

DTV: I think he's trying to tell us his will!

After several tries, LTQ finally said something that was understandable.

"Mom..my.., you 'ont ...hatt too tuck me in too..night, I cann.. do that my..self.

Nhu Loan: Oh my god, you're talkin- Wait...What did you say?

DTV: Something must've hit his head real bad. Oh, look--our ride is here.

Out of nowhere, a car came speeding by and pulled up in front of them, two men in black leather jackets came out.

DTV: No, wait-You can't!

The mens ignored him, pushing him aside and grabbing both Nhu Loan and LTQ.

Nhu Loan: (confused) What? Where are you taking us? What's going on?

LTQ: (groans)

Nhu Loan: Vu...VU!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!

Too late, they were both shoved into the car and the door was slammed shut as the men went in after them.

Jack: (laughs) Why so quite, Kieu? Don't you find that funny?

Bang Kieu looked up, his hands held on tightly to his gun.

Jack: Imagining your friends body parts splattered everywhere, I can see it now! LTQ is probably oatmeal...(laughs) that's sure gonna be hard to bury him...oh yeah and the beautiful Nhu Loan, what a waste to see a face like that mutilated to a point of nothingness...oh, and the precious Minh Tuyet, such a strong lady...if you make it in time you'll probably get to catch her last breath and-

"ENOUGH!"

Bang Kieu shot up instantly and shoved his gun in the middle of Jack's forehead. No more thinking. He's just going to do it this time. Pull the trigger.

Then he heard something. A girl's voice. One he knew too well. He didn't know whether to be happy or afraid now that he's got something to lose once again.
