I remember...

Bang Kieu sat there alone on the shore, staring off into the horizon. The waters are calm, the seagulls were no where in site; a perfect moment to reflect on life. Beckham saw his dad sitting there all alone. Running up to him, he surprised his dad from behind

"Daddy! what you doing alone?"

Bang Kieu turned to his son, putting his arm around Beckham and craddling him in his arms. He didn't said a word. Beckham was growing impatient

"You didn't answer my question!"

Bang Kieu looked down to the smiling Beckham, he reminded so much of himself. He couldn't help but smile.

" Just remembering son..." he replied finally

"About what?"

Bang Kieu took a deep breath and begin rocking his son back and forth

"Oh, just the old times...I remember when I was your age I kissed a girl..."

"Eww daddy you kissed a girl?"

"(laughs) yeah she yelled at me after that though"

"(laughs) Who was she?"

Bang Kieu paused and leaned down to whisper something in Beckham's ear, the little boy's eyes widen in joy and he couldn't help but giggle.

"Remember Beckham, it's a secret so don't tell anyone...got it?"

"but does Auntie remember this?"

"She tries to forget it...but remember don't say anything"

"Okay Daddy!"

Bang Kieu smiled and ruffled his son's hair, it was one of those moments he was glad the plane crashed. He was able to spend more time with his son and he has his best friends with him, life can get any better than this.

Minh Tuyet: Gosh Quang, it's not that high up there!

LTQ: Easy for you to say, you're down there!

Nhu Loan: Aw the coconuts looks so good

LTQ edged inch by inch, bending the tree little by little. He held onto the tree as if he was dangling off of a five story building. He has never climbed trees before in his life and the thought of falling is just unbearable to him.

Minh Tuyet: You know how long it has been? AN HOUR! and yet you're still not even there yet!

LTQ: Why don't you do it yourself!

Nhu Loan: Maybe we should just forget about it

Minh Tuyet: NO! I've waited so long under the hot sun for nothing!

Nhu Loan: There's always water back at the-

Minh Tuyet: I want a coconut!

LTQ begins to move another inch, Nhu Loan gave him encouragement which motivated him to keep going. He managed to reach to the very top, wrapping his legs around the tree to keep him from falling. He begins dropping coconuts down like crazy forcing Minh Tuyet and Nhu Loan to run all over to retrieve them.

Nhu Loan: Great job Quang! this would last us a few days!

Minh Tuyet: Ok knucklehead, time to get down

Nhu Loan: What's the matter?

LTQ: I don't know how!
