Showtime

The blasting music. The flashing lights. The wild crowds. The moment where there nothing else matters besides the moment itself. Everything, though, flashed by before her eyes and before long her performance was over. Yet, that great feeling of being appreciated and loved by the crowd still lingered. As much as she wanted to remain on the stage, Minh Tuyet bowed to the audiences and thanked them before letting the MCs take over.

As she got to the back of the stage, there was more cheering from her co-workers and friends. Marie came by her side and congratulated her for the great opening. It set mood for the rest of the evening, which went just as good, or even better.

Half an hour went by since her performance, Minh Tuyet was sitting in the dressing room, watching the performance from the TV they had in there along with many other singers who had already finnished their performance. After that talk the gang had with Bang Kieu, the guy was still reluctant to step out on stage. It's been quite some time since the MC introduced Bang Kieu. They looked lost, turning their heads around trying to figure out why the announced singer's still not on stage yet, even though the music had already started, and so was the singing.

Minh Tuyet: You know what, I'mma have to push that guy on stage. That's the only way he'll ever make it there.
Nhu Loan: Do that. He's hopeless. Sure, people will laugh but it's not like there's anythin else he can do. The make-up artists had already tried their best on his eyebrows. That's already much better than it looked before.
"...Yea." LTQ added.

As soon as he was pushed onto the stage, Bang Kieu expected nothing less than being hit by a wave of laughter and humiliation. He haven't felt this scared ever since his first performance in first grade.

A minute passed by.

Nothing happened.

He let out a sigh of relief, and keep on acting natural. Then suddenly, from somewhere, came a voice calling his name. It sounded like...
"Duck?" Bang Kieu thought and looked around slowly as he finnished the first verse of the song. He turned his head just in time to see Minh Tuyet came running towards him and tackled him down. Everything that happened after that was a blur. One of the lightning device fell from the ceiling. Next thing, he heard some familiar popping noise. He knew what caused the noise and it was no good news.
"SNIPER!" He yelled, forgetting that the microphone was still on.
