The Escape

Day 2
Oh my gosh, it's been a long time since I wrote! We have been so busy gathering food and setting up the cave. Finally a place to hide from the rain and harsh winds! Everyone's been doing well...no I'm exaggerating (lol) Minh Tuyet is fussing about how the humidity is damaging her hair, Bang Kieu is frustrated that he couldn't make enough containers to store all the water from the rain, Beckham is starting to grow bored with the place, LTQ is having a hard time trying to catch those nice big juicy crabs...surprisingly they run pretty fast! and me I am just plain home sick. I miss my apartment, I miss my fans, I miss being able to walk out and just meet people! Although this place is like a tropical paradise, it doesn't feel like a vacation when you know you can't leave when you want to...

LTQ was walking the sandy beaches on the other side of the island. It was a very hot sunny day and he was sweating like crazy but he was determined to find some decent food to eat... he was getting sick of eating tuna fishes. Staggering around, he stumbled over little rocks and seashells. Just then he saw something moving in the distance. It was clearly a figure of a human being. With a closer look, he can see it's the pilot. Running in excitement, he called out to him,

LTQ: HEY!

The pilot turned around. He was about to strap his air tank on when LTQ approached him. The pilot realized that LTQ was one of the four on the plane. "But the plane crashed...I thought they wouldn't survive..." he thought to himself. A huge devilish grin spread across his face.

Pilot: Hey! I thought you didn't survive. Are your friends okay?

LTQ: They are fine. We found a cave and have been surviving off the island. So it turns out no one was killed in this plane crash at all!

Pilot: Oh really, that is amazing!

LTQ: I know! By the way, how did you make it? We couldn't find you and it has been days.

Pilot: I don't know. I woke up finding myself here. For some reason I ended up on the other side of the island.

LTQ thought for a moment and was observant for the first time in a long while, "So how did you get the scuba diving equipment?"

Pilot: It was in the plane, I always carry it just in case. So where are your friends?

LTQ didn't want to change the subject, "At the cave... so are you going to go scuba-diving?"

The pilot was unprepared for the question and was speechless. Suddenly, the walkie talkie attached to his belt made a buzzing sound, and before the pilot could do anything, a man's voice spoke out of it,

Walkie Talkie: Sir? sir? are you there? Everything is going according to the plan-

The pilot quickly turned it off before the guy could say anything else. His unfailing devilish grin began to fade as he gave out a nervous chuckle.

LTQ: What plan?

The pilot panicked. He quickly bend down to grab a knife from the inside of his boot and charges right into LTQ. The pilot tries to take a stab at him but LTQ manages to move away, dodging every strike attempted.

"Wow it pays off to be skinny!" LTQ thought to himself.

He finally repaid the hostility with a punch in the pilot's face as the man slowly staggered back. He had a shocked looked on his face. From what he heard, LTQ wouldn't fight back and he should be the easiest one to take care of.

The pilot was growing impatient. He wanted LTQ dead. He dropped his knife and tackled LTQ to the ground. Sitting on top of LTQ, the pilot started punching him. Then he attempted to choke the singer with his bare hands. Gasping for breath, LTQ struggled to fight back or do anything to stop the pilot from killing him. But the guy weighted a ton and no matter how hard he try to break free of his grip, it was useless. He saw a rock beside him and quickly grabbed it. He wasted no time, smashing the rock into the pilot's head which made him collapse to the ground, moaning in pain.

The pilot slowly got up, using the boulder for support. LTQ kicked him hard in the stomach again and again. The pilot was wearing down and was too tired to fight back. LTQ left him resting on the rock and turned around to pick up the knife. The pilot seized his opportunity and charged right into LTQ from behind, trying to get the knife back. There were many struggling between the two until the pilot felt something hit him.

He froze.

Standing there, stunned, blood gushed like crazy out from his under his arm where LTQ had cut him with the knife. Losing blood very fast, the pilot slowly fell to his knees and eventually to the ground. He turned pale and all LTQ did was watched. It didn't take long until his heart stopped beating the body laid there motionless.

"Wow, that trick from the movie really works," LTQ said to himself. Though he was worn out from the fight, he was too calm that he had a hard time convincing himself he just once again killed a human being.
