The End: The Epilogue

It was a rainy winter afternoon, and Mason City airport was filled with travelers and people on the week of Christmas. Everyone was too busy with their own matter to notice anything else--anything else that wan't supposed to be there, anything else unsual. The place itself was chaotic. Amid all of this was a man sitting on a bench, watching the news on the small TV screen. His emotionless face was covered by sunglasses and a hat.

Reporter: Up until now, there have been no other sightings of Bang Kieu, Minh Tuyet, Nhu Loan or LTQ. There is a rumor going around that Nhu Loan and LTQ was kidnapped by two men in leather jackets and they were transported in a black car. Minh Tuyet is said to have survived the explosion, but the authority refuses to comment anything else on the matter. Fans everywhere are enraged and demands an answer. Our question is, where is Bang Kieu when all this had happened, and whether or not he had anything to do with his 3 friends' mysterious disappearance. This is Chuck reporting Live from-

The man shook his head as he got up to grab some coffee, the night before took a toll on him and he needs all the energy he can get.

The cafe owner handed him a fresh brewed cup, he proceeded to the side where he added milk and sugar to his coffee. A lady dressed in all black approached a newsstand beside him, she had on a short dress with a floppy hat the size of an umbrella and huge shades on to hide her pretty face. Flipping through the magazines, she kept looking toward his direction as if trying to figure out something. He took a sip of his coffee and immediately placed it down to add more sugar and the lady watched as he dump a load to his cup.

"Are you kidding me? Do you want to get fatter?"

Man: Huh? Excuse me?

The lady growled in annoyance and walked up to him in a rhythm reminiscent of someone he knew.

Man: "Oh..."

She removed her sunglasses, to reveal a fresh powdered face looking at him. Whatever marks that might've been there from the previous night were covered with layers of make up, making it seem like nothing had happened.

"Aren't you gonna say hi to me?"

Man: Uh...hi?

(the lady smiles while shaking her head)

"So you're picking up Beckham?"

"Yeah, if I left him there longer, he'll probably disown me as a father...so how about you? Are you attending Jack's funeral? How thoughtful." (chuckling)

"Ha, ha, very funny. I'm leaving to Paris today."

"So soon? Can't you stay? I mean with Loey and Quang gone, it's..."

"You're a strong boy, deal with it. Besides, you could always come visit them once they get settled in their new place."

"That reminds me--gotta call Mr. Hung later and thanks the guy. Gotta admit that his plan was flawless. Had me thinking they were really kidnapped."

A brief moment passed by without neither of them saying anything. Both seemed to be holding back something that they dared not say. Finally, the guy spoke:

"Well I just want to say that-"

Suddenly a man, who greatly resembles a famous superstar who had just announed his early retirement a day before, appeared.

"Hey honey, our jet is ready-Kieu! Didn't know you were here! If I knew you were here we could've had lunch or something but it's too late now we gotta go, come on Tuyet!"

"God, I hate that guy." Bang Kieu murmured under his breath. He hoped no one had heard their names called.

Minh Tuyet picked up her luggage and followed Aaron, she turned around and looked at Bang Kieu before giving him a warm smile and waved as she put on her sunglasses and ran up to Aaron. Bang Kieu watched as they disappeared into the crowd, and at the same time, a familiar face emerged. Beckham spotted his dad and let go of the woman's hand and dragged his suitcase across the floor toward Bang Kieu, who crouched down to hug his son with the uninjured arm. After a moment of silence, Beckham began telling him the exciting things he has done as the women caught up and kneeled by his side. Bang Kieu was so happy to see his son that he ignored the achs and pains from his injuries. He looked over at the woman and smiled at her.

Bang Kieu: Thank you, Trizzie.
