Lost and Late

LTQ: What? You lost my bag?

Minh Tuyet: Nah ah, don't ya blame it on me. You shouldn't have leave it here.

LTQ: Where was Kieu? He would've never let it happen.

Minh Tuyet: I don't know! After we found out that we were at the wrong gate, he just dropped all the stuff and ran toward the other gate. Then when the guy came and steal the bag, Kieu and the security guards ran off after him.

Nhu Loan: Huh?

LTQ: Look, here he comes.

As soon as Bang Kieu approached them, they all attacked him with his or her own questions. Nothing made sense to Bang Kieu.

"HOLD ON!" Bang Kieu cried in confusion as they quietly obeyed. He then turned to LTQ, "Sorry, we couldn't get your bag back. Was there anything valuable in it?"

"Nothing... just ALL OF MY MONEY!" LTQ looked like he was about to explode.

"Well, what else can happen? First someone pointed us to the wrong gate, I got stuck in the bathroom, then someone steal Quang's bag..." Nhu Loan panicked.

"And we're late for the plane." Bang Kieu added.

All: WHAT?

Bang Kieu: Why else would I drop everything and run to the gate, trying to stop the plane? To our luck, they left early, too. This is strange, though. Why would that guy point us to the wrong gate? Why did all of this happen on the same day? It seems like someone wants us to miss that plane.

LTQ: I think you're just being paranoid.

Bang Kieu: Well, there's ought to be a reason why he did that.

Minh Tuyet: Stop worrying about those stupid things! We have to figure out a way to get to Korea!

Bang Kieu: A day or two late won't hurt.

Nhu Loan: But Marie says if I'm late one more time she'll kick me out of the production.

The airport crew who was standing around, being quiet for the whole time, now spoke up, "There's a jet you guys can rent. I think it wouldn't be a problem since you guys are celebrities."

The four looked at each other. "We split the money, then?"

LTQ: Like I have any!

Nhu Loan: I don't care. I'll pay if you guys don't want to. I have to get on a plane to Korea TODAY!

Everyone agreed to rent a private plane and pulled out their money, LTQ was lucky enough to still have his credit cards, so they all chipped in for a small plane and a pilot.

Minh Tuyet: He's the only pilot?

Airport staff: Yes all of our pilots have been booked way in advance.

Minh Tuyet: But he's old!

Bang Kieu: He's not that old, just middle aged.

Minh Tuyet: Yeah! what if he crashed the plan due to poor eyesight?

Airport staff: Miss, we checked his medical records and he's healthy.

Minh Tuyet: Oh how do you know? You could be his wife!

LTQ: Geeze you always complain about everything!

Airport staff: So do you want the pilot or not?

Minh Tuyet: HECK NO! we can wait another-

Nhu Loan: We'll take him!

Minh Tuyet: What?

Nhu Loan: MY CAREER IS ON THE LINE HERE!

Airport staff: Great! so the plane will be ready in 30 minutes.

Minh Tuyet: What? That's fast!

LTQ: How small is the plane?

Bang Kieu: Beckham, come to daddy we are going on another plane.

Beckham: Yay!

Nhu Loan: Great! My career is saved!
