The Plan

LTQ went to get the rest of the gang and explained the situation to them on the way. Everyone was doubtful of the story. It was hard to believe that the pilot, a man they had never known before, would attack LTQ. It was even harder to believe that LTQ had actually killed him all by himself.

"If you don't believe me, fine. Just come and see!" LTQ said.

To their surprised, LTQ was telling the truth. Bang Kieu had to once again cover his son's eyes to keep him from seeing the horrid scene.

"Get the body away!" Bang Kieu told the others.

LTQ: You shouldn't have bring him along!

Nhu Loan: Well, what you said was hard to believe.

Minh Tuyet: Well, you killed him, so you clean it up!

LTQ gave out a sigh before dragging the body into the bushes. The walkie talkie and something wrapped inside a piece of paper fell out from the body as he did. Minh Tuyet and Nhu Loan was reluctant to pick them up, as they were stained with blood. Bang Kieu let go of his son and went to take a look at the objects as soon as the dead body was out of sight. He unwrapped the paper to reveal a stack of cash inside. The wrapping paper itself was a map. Someone had circled a spot on the map with red ink and marked another spot with a X.

"This must be where we are," Bang Kieu said, pointing at the red circle. "The other spot is out in the ocean."

Nhu Loan: Woa, that's really far away from mainland!!

LTQ came out after dumping the body in some bushes, "Well, the pilot was about to take a swimming trip when I came. He was putting on an air tank. If mainland was that far away, why would he be so stupid to even try?"

Minh Tuyet: Wow, did you get hit in the head really hard? That's like the first smart thing I've heard you say in a long time.

LTQ ignored her and went on saying, "He was talking to someone on the walkie talkie too. The other guy mentioned something about a plan--whatever "plan" it was. But anyways, it means that there are people somewhere not far from here."

Minh Tuyet: Who are you? and what have you done to knucklehead?

Bang Kieu; Tuyet, stop it. He's right. But since there's the walkie talkie, let's contact that man and ask for help.

LTQ: Wait. What if he's the pilot's man? What if he also wants to kill us?

Nhu Loan: But we should at least try! It's our only chance off this island.

Bang Kieu cleared his throat and turned on the walkie talkie, "Are you there? Over."

"Woa.. that really sounds like the pilot!" LTQ exclaimed.

Minh Tuyet: Of course. Kieu's talented--unlike someone.

Bang Kieu gave them a scold that shut both of them up before the reply from the other line came, "Yes. Over."

"Continue with the plan. Over."

"So what now? Do I have to come in or are you still going to swim out here? Over."

"Come in. Over."

Nhu Loan: So what do we do now?

Bang Kieu: We wait.
